Founded in 1989, triVIN, Inc., which began as General Systems Solutions, Inc., is part of the investment portfolio of American Capital Strategies, Ltd. of Bethesda, Maryland. American Capital is the third largest publicly traded alternative asset manager in the United States.

Since 1992, triVIN has continually developed and provided software-based solutions that
improve the efficiency and convenience of all aspects of motor vehicle credential processing
and administration.

In June 2000, the company acquired eVIN, Inc. of Annapolis, Maryland, adding electronic
vehicle registration products for six more states.

In August 2000, the company merged with FDI, Inc. of Sacramento, California, making it
possible for the combined entity to offer electronic lien and title management in addition to
automated vehicle registration.

As a result of this expansion, and in order to reflect the company’s vastly enhanced product
set and desire to make our name more descriptive of who we are and what we do, triVIN, Inc.
was selected as the new corporate moniker. TriVIN is an acronym for title, registration, and
inquiry—the three points of access to the DMV, and Vehicle Identification Number—the unique
17-character number assigned to every vehicle manufactured since 1981.

TriVIN blends unmatched technical expertise with a unique understanding of regulatory policy
and commercial business practices. Coupled with solid financing and a persistent,
entrepreneurial spirit, triVIN is in a position to continuously improve the products and services
offered to its many customer sets and partners in the motor vehicle administration community.

Stay tuned . . . the best is yet to come!
